Sean Smith serves as Chief Executive Officer at Accretive. Sean empowers Accretive agencies to push the boundaries of traditional insurance – bringing more than 40 years of industry expertise combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and an innovative ideology. His goal is to provide a platform for Accretive agencies to continue to innovate and provide new solutions for complex risk.
Sean began his career at Prudential and then joined Anthem Blue Cross prior to joining Keenan in 1985. After being named CEO of Keenan in 2000, Sean fostered an innovative culture that produced steady growth for the organization. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his industry and community contributions including, Business Insurance “Millennium Heirs to the Industry,” LA Business Journal Health Care Leadership award, Peace Over Violence humanitarian award, and the Los Angeles Team Mentoring Keystone Award.
