John Stephens is the President of Property & Casualty for Accretive. He is responsible for supporting our Property & Casualty wholesale and specialty agencies to help drive distribution and innovation. John has been an industry leader in program development, helping to build one of the largest public agency worker’s compensation pools in the nation. Much of his success can be attributed to his ability to build and develop teams focused on innovation and always challenging the status quo.
John began his career at Arthur J. Gallagher where he specialized in Healthcare Professional Liability and built a national Medical Malpractice program. He then moved to Keenan & Associates where he began as an Account Executive and rose to lead the statewide Public Agency Practice. He has served on a variety of boards, is a frequent conference speaker, and is a foremost authority on emerging risks.
